Gut-health & mindful eating

A calmer way to eat for women worn out by bloating and second-guessing. Here, food becomes something to trust again — evidence-based, unhurried, and entirely yours.

I'm Maeve

Accredited Practising Dietitian & gut-calm guide for women

My clients come to me tired — tired of bloating that arrives without warning, of the ever-shrinking list of “safe” foods, and of feeling at war with their own bodies. They know me for the calm I bring to the chaos, and for refusing to hand anyone another restrictive plan to white-knuckle through.

I trained as a dietitian because I believe eating should feel settled, not fearful. For years I watched women trade one elimination diet for the next, each one narrower than the last, and still feel unwell. So I built a gentler way of working — one rooted in the science of the gut, paced to real life, and free of shame.

My whole practice runs on a single belief: that a calm, well-fed gut is built through understanding, not deprivation. We find your triggers, widen your plate again, and rebuild a relationship with food you can actually keep — for good.

Core Beliefs

Nourish, Don't Restrict

Health is built by adding good things back in, not by cutting your world down to a handful of foods you're afraid to leave.

Trust Your Gut

Your body is always sending signals. We learn to read them together — calmly, without panic — so eating stops feeling like a guessing game.

Progress Over Perfection

There are no perfect days or ruined ones. Small, steady, repeatable changes are what quietly settle a gut for the long run.

I'd been through so many plans, cutting out food after food, and still felt bloated and unsure. Maeve was patient every step of the way — she helped me eat with ease and finally pinpoint my triggers. For the first time in years I'm not afraid of my next meal.

I came to Maeve exhausted and living on the same five “safe” meals. She widened my plate again without ever making me feel like I was doing it wrong. My bloating has settled and, honestly, I feel like myself around food again.
